PB Laptop... Possible to upgrade CPU?
I have a Packard Bell Easy One. It has a K6-2 450mhz CPU. I want to upgrade it to a K6-2+. I know how to build/upgrade Desktop PCs, but the thing about laptops is I don't know about the arrangement of the case etc. Is it possible to upgrade the CPU? is it just a case of getting in there, remove old CPU and slot in new one? Also since it is a PB BIOS, will it detect the new CPU ok? (new CPU will be supported by chipset/motherboard). Thanks...
