I just got a new Canon S9000 printer and I have a whole stack of HP gloss brochure & Flier paper here that I want to print on, but the factory profiles don't have any that match the paper. I tried all the different paper types and the funny thing is that the glossy photo paper profiles seem to drop a LOT of ink. The page is still visably wet when it comes out of the printer. The best profile is plain paper, that's the only one that doesn't come out wet, but doesn't look quite as good as my HP printer when I use the profile specifically for this paper (go figure). I guess Canon's own photo papers must be super absorbant or something because it seems to use a LOT of ink . Anyway, I can't seem to find a good set of profiles available for this printer. If someone can post a link or give me some pointers as to settings that might work for this particular printer that would be great! Thanks!
