The holocaust would suggest that it is more like 50 or so years since we stopped scraping. Although that's just one of the most recent examples, I have neither the time nor the inclination to scientifically study the exact moment when we scraped through the bottom covering of the barrel.



On a serious note:
This is a frivilous lawsuit that will go nowhere, just like the others of its kind. It only serves to parade headlines for lobbyists who want to keep their topic relevant. Call me crazy but I bet UK law won't hold a video game maker responsible in any way for a person committing murder. There's just no reasonable liability.
