My friend decided to try his first mod out this weekend so he brought over his P-II and we spent the last few nights adding a few things. The case is an awful design, but we found enough room for two 80mm exhaust fans on the top. They are pulling air right off the CPU and RAM so it's a pretty nice placement actually.
We cut out the two 80mm fan mounts on top, and then went for the window. Instead of a standard rectangle he opted for "The Blob"Basically a misshaped.... blob of a window... lol
It'll look a lot better when he gets some green lights in and cleans the inside up a lot. It has a long way to go but it was fun to mess around withThe 'love machine' is pending the second color coat until I get some sandpaper and a new drop cloth and a not-rainy-cold day... so this gave us something to do.
