yo, my computer specs are as follows

P4 1.5GHz @ 1.723
ASUS P4B533
384MB Crucial PC2700
Maxtor D740X 60GB <-- all 7200RPM, ATA100/133
Maxtor D740X 40GB
WD 20GB
Maxtor 13.6GB
Hitachi 8x DVD
HP 10/4/32x CDRW
Radeon9500 128 -> 9700 @ 350/320
some enermax PSU that's quiet, but kind of old now

anyway, those are all of the components that would draw the most power. recently, my drives have been crapping out. It's gotten so bad to the point that I can ONLY run the two D740X's; no optical drives. Even with only these two IDE drives drawing power, I still here the "click off" noise whenever I try and play a game, and then my secondary HDD goes limp, and windows freezes a few seconds later. Is this really a sign of my PSU dying? The only reason I'm not 100% sure is because I just installed a different distro of WinXP corp. This one is by sharereactor and has SP1 integrated, so that's one of the reasons why I'm questioning the fidelity of components other than the PSU.

Thoughts? If the PSU truly needs to be urinated on, what do you suggest would be ample replacement? I don't want to spend more than $120 on a PSU. I can get a Vantec 470w Stealth PSU for $95 or an Antec True480 for $84. Who do you like better? They're both very well-acclaimed brands.
