The Ram is Great. Running completely Stable at 405. Which i just wanted the 400 + a Tiny bit so its not at 389.7 or something. Really happy there.

The Core... At least this one I have is just not delivering the speeds I hoped it would. It seems to Run Completely Stable at 425. At 438 it gets little white Dots all over the screen. I even have some doubts that this core will actually run at the perscribed 432 that Overdrive is supposed to deliver. I need to check that out specifically.. but.. It looks like anything much over 425 is a wash. I am using Aquamark03 as the testbed for Overclocking and errors. There are a lot of Dark areas in it and it makes the little Dots you get when the core is pushed a little to far really stand out.

So.. Currently its Running Completely Stable using Riva Tuner at 425/405.


Thank you everyone. Oh by the way, he did get 432 on the 9800xt, but not 438. 450MHz on a 9800 pro is a VERY good overclock on stock without mods. of course if you use enhanced cooling and mods, 450MHz is much more likley but out of the box 420 is average for 9800 pros and 432 for 9800xts........
