I guess it depends on the model.. What models did you have problems with? The older crappy Optra R+?

Even the lower end Lexmark 630 is a great model.. I have worked with most of Lexmark's lineup...

I used to be a DIE HARD HP Fan, but I have been moving more to Lexmark since they are just as good IMO if not better...

Granted the lower end Lexmark Lasers SUCK! And if you are going for a lowend consumer laser then it would be an HP.. I like the HP LJ 1200 if you are looking for a nice cheap laser printer!
We actually use the T634 I think, though I don't work with them everyday. We print close to 10,000 pages per day on some of our printers and we are pretty hard on printers in general. We print packing slips which are thicker and can leak adhesive. I understand that for what we do, printer wear is going to happen, but I feel our previous IBM printers where a lot better. Since then, Lexmark handles all of IBM's printers and I feel from what I've seen, that the quality is not the same.
