Sleeps with the Fishes
aim file transfer
if both people using aim have a router, they can't seem to share files. is there a way to open ports on your router to be able to share with people that have routers? or do both parties have to configure the router. i have tried opening ports 4443 and 5190-5193, but to no avail. i have even set my computer to the dmz host, but still no luck. i can send files over aim to people without a router, but none with one. so can i assume both people have to open the ports on their router? thanks!
i know that aim has a beta version with the fix for this, but i dont want to get a beta version of aim.
