Help
I was trying to install the french version of xp professional for a friend. I could instal everything except for the audio driver and bus controller driver. At this point everthing runs fine except there is no sound.I have already found the audio driver. My problem is after i install his msn 8 and go on the internet i get an error message with a 60 second countdown to restart. I can't read it because its in french. My friend is french and i don't think he is translating the message right. he says its a long distant connection due to the internet. The only word that stood out was (RPC) . I've re-installed it 4 times and still the same problem. Its a pavilion 753n.
Any ideas on what is causing this? Is it the bus controller?
