Where should I look...?
I am going to be moving into a house soon and so I want to get a nice entry/budget home theatre setup and I was wondering where I might look to research some receivers. At the place I work my boss offered me a break on some Harmon Kardon receivers we have (AVR 230/330/430) as well as some of the JBL speakers (E-10/20/30) I was thinking of getting a pair of the E10's for rear speakers, a pair of the E30's for front speakers and then a reciever. I would get that to start, then add a center and sub when I could. The receiver is my biggest target though. I need to be able to learn enough about them to make a smart buy. I can also get a discount at the local Good Guys, so I was thinking I might look into their Denon, onkyo and yamaha selection. Thanks for any help fellas. Price range, I am looking for maybe around $300 or less (unless I can be convinced that the extra $$$ is definitely worth breaking budget).
