    Talking Boot from SATA ?

is it possible to boot from a 74GB SATA Drive + SATA enclosure + SATA PCMCIA card ?

i have the above combination with a WD raptor 10000rpm (hehe it feels good to write it!) and a generic SATA pcmcia minus the enclosure, my laptop is a fujitsu N6010 which comes with a 100GB fujitsu 4200rpm HDD - and i would like to boot from me faster WD..

so what i did was load the driver by pressing F6 in a new OS installtion of windows XP (wanted to dual boot with the laptop windows and the external SATA)the driver gets accepted and when i get to the point where i have to select the partition to install windows it only shows the laptop drive ...not the external one

i have installed windows on SATA drives before, had a good SATA 10000 rpm raid array in me destop those days !! (tears come to me eyes ) my laptop scores good benchys in everything but the HDD area - any help would be appreciated

what do you guys think ?
