I have Acer Aspire One (9" LCD) for past 10 months and are very happy with it...

HP has an option to put in HD hardware decoder so you can watch 720p & 1080p videos w/o making it into slide show...

So my vote would be between Acer, MSI, or HP. Sony is just overpriced.
