Cool way to try out games. However, it is worth 2x more to be able to sit in the comfort of home. Plus, I've never spent that much on a new computer. I built this thing back in 2008 for around 800 and recently added a 100 dollar videocard for crossfire. I usually only buy on steam sales, so I don't spend much on games.
Also, most people need a normal computer which costs around 500 bucks. Add 300 in for a videocard and you are gaming. So really, the cost for gaming on a computer is only the cost of a decent videocard and the games.
