Now this looks to be the sweetest game of all time, "Republic" from Elixir studios (www.elixir-studios.co.uk) has the most amazing graphics engine i have ever heard about, with its ability to render an "infinite" number of polygons.

If they pull off the graphics alone it could be one of the most revolutionary games of all time, but what they claim about the artificial intelligence (a million individuals) and pure size of the game could make it outstanding.

Check out the screenshots on their webpage, the level of detail in them makes quake 3 look prehistoric. Admittidley they arent perfect, but this game is still very pre-release.
