Do you know what I'm talking about?
Back in the late 1980s there was this game which I think is called Pharaoh. You play as a low ranked Egyptian trader who works his way up by trading goods along the Nile.
It was a fairly complex game, with like 20 commodities (gold, silver, bronze, beer, wine, onyx, marble, etc).
To improve your standing you could also battle enemies (the battle scene involves your character riding a chariot, firing arrows at enemies), marry daughters of public officials (given you can make the drowry), make offerings at the temple, etc. Eventually you will also need to build monuments and pyramids etc...
Anyone remember this game? Know what it was called or the publisher? Know where I can get a copy? I tried most abandonware sites, but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.
