I bought all the tools to overclock to be ready when some fans I ordered arrived...I replaced my 60mm delta BL with an 80mm enermax adjustable speed fan. I was putzing around and turned it down till I could barely hear it and started running Prime95. My temps have slightly increased now, but prime95 torture test only gets the cpu up to 46 degrees, and I have an almost silent machine. I never thought I'd prize peace and quiet so much. 1400 Mhz is plenty for now to keep things quiet! Now maybe I'll get a better heatsink to pair with this fan to get the temps down a tad more(I have a vantec 6035-d, may get an AX7 if it would allow me to turn this fan down even slower.
