Ok, this problem has gone on long enough and you guys are pretty good about fixing things so here we goRunning an Althon XP 1600+, which at 133fsb runs @ 1400mhz.. Right now I'm running at 125fsb (~1312mhz). I can change the fsb around in the bios and if I turn it up to 133fsb and reboot this message comes up:
Windows could not start because of an error in the software.
Please report this problem as:
load needed DLLs for kernel.
Please contact your support person.
That happens most of the time, SOMETIMES I can get it to boot at 133fsb, othertimes I get a blue screen that says something about an error and it did a memory dump. Yesterday I proceded to reformat my comp, do a fresh full install of xp (originally upgraded from 98), etc in hopes that would solve the problem. Got done with all that, spent hours upon hours redownloading the latest drivers for everything on there, still same problemMost of my specs in sig if you need to know anything else I can post it tomorrow.. Thanks!
