E-mail from codemasters beta tester team thing (I've been waiting on a code since March ) confirms that:

To cut a long story short, the game is officially delayed until September. As I stated on the
forum a couple of weeks ago, there will be a full and proper Beta Test - this has not changed.
Rest of the e-mail is just about how they're taking they challenge on with a vengence etc. Not sure how many played the original, but I enjoyed it a lot so thought some may be interested in this news.
