Max Payne - Last Challenge

Is there a generally sucessful strategy for beating the Last Challenge level in Max Payne? I keep getting destroyed! I don't know how many people out there have ever gotten to the Last Challenge level, but if you have, any advice would be appreciated.

Is that the secret level where all the swines come at you? Or the last level with the chopper?

Ah gotcha...I just used bullet dive a lot, used the berettas then switched to M4, then duel Uzi's then switched to the jack hammer. Took me about ten or so tries before I got it right. Then there's some weird picture gallery place.

okay - bullet dodge didn't really work for me. Neither did the M79 because there was no way for me to get it and retreat to safety without getting my head filled with lead. So here is what i did:

I stayed in that little foyer at the beginning of the level and made my stand there. The bad guys attack by coming from two sides. I used my two molotov cocktails to create an impassable wall of flame on one side and shot it out with the guys coming from the other. The idiots on the side with the fire just kept on walking into the flames and killed themselves that way and the group that I engaged in a heated firefight was simply no match for my superhuman FPS skillz I gunned them all down and took barely a scratch in return.
