I am not getting that board but I am getting its sister/brother. The GA 7VRXP. I usually build all my systems with Abit boards but thought I would try this one. It came in third out of 18 boards in Toms Hardware tests of 333 motherboards. But it scored consistently high on all the tests where a couple other boards did better in some tests. I ordered it from NewEgg on Friday late in the day but I see they have it boxed along with the AMD 2000+ XP processor I ordered with it. Hopefully it will be shipped on Tuesday.

I have that board, and I love it. VERY stable, easy to set up, and easy to overclock. Onboard sound is about average for onboard sound. DO NOT get a SB Live to use with the board, I never had any trouble with it but many have, I run a turtle beach Santa Cruz and love it
Good luck

I have the board and like it.
Good stable board with lots of features, you might wanna consider the 7dxr+ which has USB2.0 and ATA/133 raid.
Anyway, don't get a Netgear network card with it, especially the Fa3XX variety, causes all sorts of problems.
