Fan Choice
Right now I have the two intake fans on my PC-60 blowing through the radiator my my water cooling. I don't seem to be getting enough airflow with the fans on the low setting, but when running on high they are much more loud than I would like. Would I be better off getting rid of the two 80mm fans, and replacing them with one 120mm fan. I am hoping that the larger fan can run much quieter and produce more airflow better directed at my radiator. Will this work the way I want it to?

If your 80mm fans only pump 50cfm or so then you could double that with a Panaflo 120mm... I have 5 of 'em, each 105cfm. I've ordered a rheobus tho from Australia which rocks, and will allow me to switch 'em all to low. If your fans are directly on the radiator blowing through, it might be better to stick with two 80's.

No, the 80mm fans are about an inch from the front of the radiator. I creates a big problem because the air likes to go around the radiator more than in. The 120mm fan would provide a much more elegant solution than the cardboard I have directing flow right now becasue I can mount it directly to the radiator.

120mm fans make noise also but its a different level. Head over to
SideWinder and listen to some of the fans there. Its a nice way to get an idea of what you will be hearing...
