Try deleting it in dos mode. Usually when i can´t get windows to delete something, i do it in dos mode and it usually works

Most programs like Kazaa protect their folders to stop you corrupting the downloads. So try closing Kazaa and deleting is DOS mode as suggested above.

Just close kazaa and delete the file, if that doesn't work , try rebooting and deleting it again...

There are no files that are too big to delete. There are files that are too big to fit in the Recycle Bin. Just use the shift-delete keys to bypass the Recycle Bin.

Yes. Shut down your computer and choose to restart in dos mode, or when booting select command prompt only after doing the F8. The dos command is:
    del c:\(folderpath)\(filename.ext)

I agree this is the best way to handle it.

Just make sure you dont have Kazaa set to start with windows...

actual the length of the file name will prevent you from deleting it (i know for exp with p2p progs)

you can rename it (maybe) to a short filename, or you can use one of the many FileManagers availible for winblowze

I received a virus from Kazaa aswell it was called Benjamin or some variation of that. Anyway I couldn't delete it aswell so I downloaded the newest update for McAffe Virus Scanner and that got rid of it.

I've had a similar snaffoo in the past, did u try deleting the file from within kazaa rather than the folder?
