    Angry Blue Screen of death...

    Once i install the drivers for my webcam, than the installation program asks me to plug in my webcam, when i do, it starts reading the installation driver, which is normal, but than after a little while i get a FLIPING BLUE SCREEN ERROR saying: " A fatal exception 06 has occured a 002:FF080A92 in VXD Camdrv30(01)" what the FU©k does it mean. plz plz help, i beg u genuises plz.

    It means the driver for your camera cuased Windows to cought of a hair ball. A VxD is a virtual device driver used solely in the support of a device within Windows. The error could be caused because of a resource conflict, or a conflict with another TSR or utility running on your computer.

    A lot of it may just depend on what version of Windows you are running.

    so what can be done about that. i even got the latest drivers but that didnt do any good. what can be done in order to solve the problem.

    What version of Windows are you running? How does this camera connect to your computer, through USB? Do you have an AV software running? If you do, you always shut down AV software before you try installing anything.

    i m runnig windows 98, it connect through USB. i duuno what u mean by AV (audio video), how can i check whether or not its runnig and how do i disable it.

    Aww, by the title I thought that this concerned the other blue screen of death - the dreaded INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE... which I still battle with daily.

    But that blue screen you mentioned pops up all the time on my old comp; I've just learned to live with it (but that highlights my evasive tendencies)
