remote access / collection of hotmail
hi,
i was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to set up a page in order to remotely access/collect hotmail ?
there is a company policy where i work that blocks access to hotmail (but confusingly not to other webmail services, most of which don't have any antivirus stuff...but i digress...)
i have access to a wap site that allows remote access/collection and that made me wonder if it's possible to do the same thing via a webpage and bypass the block that way ?
any thoughts, suggestions, places to start would be greatly appreciated.
ta.

can you use outlook express to get your mail??? thats an easy way of getting your mail without having to go to the website. this service might be blocked too. Im sure if you go to hotmails website and dig around enough you can figure out how to have it send the mail somewhere, or maybe on another mail service you can have it collect your hotmail i dont know good luck, it sux hotmail got banned

thanks for that but as you mention - because outlook express needs a direct connection to hotmail to collect, that's also a no go.
i haven't seen any options i can use on hotmail itself and no other webmail seems to be able to collect from hotmail - i think it's because hotmail isn't pop3 but that's just me guessing.
the reason i wanted a page online to do it was precisely because it would be remote - not going through our proxy - just from the page (which would already be outside the proxy) to hotmail.
anyone else got any ideas ???
