And so I went to the store one day with my lobster of course and saw the love of my life. It was an orange. And it was blue. Blue like the dirt on the back of the apple. It was a blue apple. Blue with dirt. Dirt with blue.

its made by logitech and it has two optical sensors instead of one-for greater accuracy

i've never used one, but i've seen many good reviews of them...last time i checked they were $30-40

moouers, have u ever tried the microsoft intellimouse optical or explorer? if you have, how does the dual optical rate compared to them

yeah, my friend had the microsoft intellimouse...but unfortunately i can't give a very accurate comparison. the last time i used the microsoft one was last year when i didn't quite realize what a good mouse was. but my friend who has been using that microsoft optical mouse for a long time now says he is going to buy the dual optical after seeing how good it was so i guess that says something. i like the ergonomics of it too...very comfortable and natural.

I've heard a lot of good things about those mice. I'm not going to upgrade though. I already have an Intellimouse Optical.

Dude, warranty it. I know it's a pain, but I believe that thing carries a 5 year warranty on it.

I will never go back to a ball mouse. I hate it when I get on another computer and have to deal with one. Optical forever.

I can make an accurate comparison of all three opitical mice. logitech single optical(at home), Logitech dual(on laptop),Microsoft explorer(at work).

#1)Logitech optical single. Before you guys start yelling at me, let me tell you why i think this. First off I have the previous generation of logitech optical, 1st gen optical i think too with iFeel. The only reason I put this here is because it feels so much better with long uses/games, it's the best design logitech ever made, why they switched is beyond me.

#2)Logitech dual. Very precise, I can draw very accuratly with this one, a good work mouse if you ask me. Only problem is design, for big hands it feels kinda cramped. Buttons are alright.

#3)Microsoft explorer. This one seems very hastly put together and the buttons are misplace. Please note that this is the first gen explorer too and the new ones that i have tried are better now. the feel of the mouse is good, you can use it for a long time but not good for gaming.

If they made dual optical with prev gen style it would be an awsome mouse, ack i can't believe they changed it.
