    Mad WinXP Pro problems!! HELP!!!

ok I didn't mind an occasional crash or two but this time the system crashed right when it was backing up my work so I lost both the orignal and the backup!!!!!!!!! stupid ^%*^(@#$)^*#$@()%#(_@ %#)($% #$!)(&%#!$()%#!&%(#!% windoze!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! motherf.... %$#*()%^ ^@)(^@!!!!!!!

well anyways, I have the following problems in windoze that i want to get fixed asap, or i'm going back to win98

    1. random reboots - yup, the system reboots randomly. no error messages or anything at all. my cpu temperatures are fine. (I have a Enermax 431 watt power supply) this one is kind of adressed in my other thread

    2. insane sound skipping - most sounds sometimes keep skipping (like music from winamp or normal windoze sounds).. this happens ever couple minutes.. and it's annoying when it does.

    3. the stupid one - windoze freezes when I'm trying to launch half-life. the screen goes black, all music skips forever, and nothing else.. video problem maybe? i got the newest drivers and stuff!!
(sometimes I can launch it successfully but i notice that everythig skips while windoze is changing the resolution)

    4. the 'bill gates' problem - kill bill gates please!

ok that's it, if anyone knows how to fix any of these, I'd appreciate it. I already installed and reinstalled all my newest drivers and stuff and I even clocked down my CPU from 1622mhz to 1400mhz. . .

    system specs below

From the way it sounds like that XP is not the problem with any of your problems. If you are sure that your temps are ok then im willing to bet for sure that its the powersupply. Its probably bad hence the rebooting and the freezing when tryin to play half life and so forth. The other thing i could think of would be the hard drive being screwy but i dont really think its that.

    1. random reboots - uncheck auto restart under system failure in startup and recovery/advanced tab/system properties.

Use quality RAM, start with one stick and fresh install. Install min components eg: toss 3 Hard drives and sound card and dont overclock, any problems? No, add sound card, any problems? No add Hard drives, etc etc.

what size is your powersupply? youre sure running a great deal of stuff. what 4 hard drives? cd roms.. sorry that info doesnt come up when you do a reply.. but Im thinking your powersupply cant keep up with demand.
