    Fastest Nvidia card under $100?

Is the GF3 TI200 the best, or is the low end GF4 better?

I heard low end GF4 was just GF2 on crack?

Good luck finding a GF4 under $100; a Ti model that is. Ti 200's are right around $100 and they are still a great value card; go with that. The GF4 MX's are supra-GF2's if you will; avoid them

Yeah if you're talking about the GF4 MX don't get that. You'd be more future proof with the GF3 Ti200.

Go with the radeon 8500LE for 99$ at newegg.com clocked at 250/275 which is faster and better the the gf4 ti4200 and much cheaper, stay away from Geforce junk

Um... just because the GPU is clocked 25mhz lower, does not mean that its crap. Why would he pay like $50 more for a regular 8500 just to get that extra 25mhz? He said he wants to keep it around $100. The newegg LE overclocks just as good if not better because it has 3.3ns ram as the regular 8500. Just get the TI-200. You won't have any problems with it.

I don't get it, a Radeon 8500 at 275/275 is slower than a Ti4200, so from deductive reasoning a Radeon 8500 at 250/275 is slower than a Ti4200 as well.

um... whoever said the Redeon LE is faster than the Ti 4200 is on crack... there's not a benchmark in the world that shows that...

I'd say it's a toss up between the 8500LE and the Ti 200... you can overclock either and get similar results, but the 8500LE is a scoche faster in most 3D applications (especially OpenGL)... but still... it's nowhere near a Ti 4200... (what was he smokin'??)

the ti4200 is gonna put you way over $100 so forget that...
if you want nvidia then the ti200 is your best bet and it's a great card. the 8500LE from newegg is faster at default speeds though, and will probably go even further when overclocked. if you must have nvidia then get the ti200, if you want the best you can get for $100 then get the 8500LE
