    shouldn't i be getting higher than 2 fps on the car chase?! i've gotten many many more frames/sec than that before...what do i do now? i've installed the catalyst drivers thinking they would solve the problem, i've overclocked and left the speed alone...didn't help. i installed the via 4-in-1 drivers, directx8.1...what do i do now to get my scores back to normal again? i've had them at about 2700 before...

    another thing...in the car chase, the sky was changing from a solid color to the proper texture with every other frame...

    LMAO wow thats slow, whats the clock speed on your video card? also have your tried 3dmark 2000 that better for 32mb or lower

    it hard as crap to get my case out of the cabinet it's in and then hook everything up to make it run and then put it back...so do you have any other suggestions before i do something like that? i'm thinking maybe i need to reformat again...it's been a while and i only have about 1.5GB free on a 20GB drive, hehe

    yeah, i wasn't laughing at first...but it really is pretty ridiculous getting 1 fps in the car chase scene...

    the clock speed on my card is 160/160 (i have the le, so the le is usually clocked at 148/148 and retail is clocked at 166/166)...but that shoudn't matter...i've gotten 2700 with those clock speeds before

    When was the last time you pulled your case out? It might be really dusty, so dusty that it's clogging the GPU fan, which could cause those types of problems. If you do that and it still doesn't work, maybe it's time for a reformat, considering you only have 1.5 GB free

    i just pulled the case out and blew all the dust away about 2 weeks ago when i installed my new soundcard (hercules game theater xp - great sound card!) so i don't think that's the problem. i think i will reformat...in a week or so. i'm not in any hurry. as long as i can play tribes or gta3 (which, suprisingly, is playable on my computer), then i'm fine
