    Question Altec 641s vs 621s

Is there any difference between these setups other than the number of sats? I thought I read somewhere that the 621s have have the sub. I'm asking because I need to upgrade my speakers, primarily for music, and a 4 sat system just wont work so well in my apartment. If my concern about the 621s is correct, does anyone have a suggestion for loud, bass-strong speakers for under $200 that will be used primarily for music with gaming as a secondary(and almost insignificant) concern?

The Altec Lansing 621s are probably one of the best/loudest 2.1s out there, but they are nipping at the price of the 641s and the LogiTech Z-560s, so the real question is, are you sure you rather have 2.1s?

Is $200 your absolute maximum budget for after shipping and everything?

Yes, I'd really prefer to stay in the sub$200 range. Although I'll probably go with the 641s(over the 621s) since the price difference is so minimal. I was just curious if anyone had any insights into superior, but comparably priced, 2.1 setups. I am curious though Gluegun, what did you have in mind?

Don't be fooled by the $299 price tag. click buy now, and you'll see they are on sale at $199.

    Here's my review of them:

Wow, those look real nice but they a bit out of my budget. I'm probably going with the 641s since I'm probably moving soon and may find a use for the 2 extra sats after all. Thanks for the info guys.
