Hammerhead Shark
It's another name for newsgroups. It's for downloading dirty pictures...oh and you can get a few other things out of it as well.

Ahem! There's a lot more to Usenet than pr0n and warez. You can also find a lot of special-interest groups that use it to communicate. I read a couple of motorcycle and computer gaming newsgroups. It's a good way to meet like-minded people, but the flamewars can be a bit intense. It's a good idea to "lurk" for a while and see what the customs are. You can also use Google's usenet archive to search for things.

it basically has everything. if you're just reading articles, you can use outlook express or forte agent. if you wanna download thems like pictures you can use grabit or newsbin pro

You did see the big grin on my post didn't you? The (other FEW things) I mentioned weren't warez, but sarcasm because there are so many. I've never used warez or even go to binaries anymore, still Usenet is one of my favorite places on the internet. Another good idea is to get out of the alt. hierarchy altogether and see the wealth of info in other hierarchies. Although the number of groups can be overwhelming.
