    black and white question

    i've noticed that you can download and unlock other creatures. are these creatures that you will eventually get as you progress through the game or extra fun stuff?

    IIRC You find all the extra creatures during the course of the game by doing small quests. They may have since come out with a patch that adds more choices at start up but it's been close to a year since I last played it.
    An effective way to deal with predators
    is to taste terrible.

    You can download creatures that don't even exist in the game too.
