Sound card probs
Well i guess im still new at installing sound cards with surround and what not. I installed a PCI Soundblaster Live 5.1, i have windows ME with a K7S5A (on-board sound) mobo and athlon 1600+ processor. My problem is their is 5 plugs on the sound blaster, the mic, line in etc. and speaker symbols, labeled 1 and 2, im using an altec lansing ACS54, surround sound system, ok the speaker plugs are green and black and match up nicely with the sound blaster (green and black plug-ins) but when i plug them in only the green plug gives sound =( , What gives do i need some internal connections on the sound card or disable the on-board sound? Once again first time at doing these damn sound cards =) . hey, I built my 3 computers all by meself so i think im doing purddy good ere' =) (used onboard sound though lol)
Just remember no matter how hard you try at anything, I will always be better!
