There ya go congrats on 5K!
I got a laptop for college too, and to tell you the truth it wasn't enough for me. I built my own system at college and gave the laptop to my parents. It's a pain to carry it around (well mine was heavy, that may be why ) but I guess if you are going to do that it is worth it.

I just got my Dell laptop a month ago and your going to find that with all the hoofla about the mx cards-that its not all that bad in your lappy.
Thank you sir. May I have another?

Everybody on the laptop forums on http://support.dell.com reccomends you get the 3 year. I would agree with them. It only takes one repair under warrenty to pay for it.

So everyone on the Dell support site reccomends an extended warranty huh?
Nice laptop AMD Soldier, Dell makes a pretty good one.

Thanks guys.
Well the reason I didn't get any extended warranties is because I will probably switch out the HD for another, sell a stick of RAM and get another... That sort of thing, so unless the mobo/cpu or the screen breaks I don't think I'll need it. Besides I'll probably sell it within 2 years anyways.
