Hopefully their will be a big decrease in price. I like the feeling of getting an awesome video card for an awesome low low price.

Hopefully the price cuts will come soon, it will feel so good to know that I've bought a card as powerful as the 8500 for just 70 something dollars.

BTW, hurry Scolecite you have to post here! You gotta keep your streak going

I bought an ATI 8500 64mb retail from uBid for $93. They have great deals. It is even cheaper than Newegg's ATI 8500 oem for $99. uBid it selling GeForce 3 ti 500 like crazy for around $110.

That is retail and new. You have to be the winning bidder though. Go to uBid.com and go into "Computer Components" And look into the video card section.

Yeah but is this place easy to trust ? I don't know. I think i rather just get a GF4 ti 4400 sense i am on a voodoo 3 2000 pci video card right now which only got like a 900 something 3dmark2000 or 3dmark2001 score hehe. But hey it does play Max Payne, quake 3 arena, serious sam, comm. 4, etc fine which seem to be playable. But i know it wasnt with all setting turned on high. But still not bad. Who knows i may wait for ATI's new R300 or whatever its called or the new Nvidia's video card coming out. I am about 70% sure i will get a GF4 ti 4400 next week or thw week after that i believe. But remember that can always change sense i am always changing my mind hehe. I wish it would not be so hard to buy hardware but i like to research, read a lot before i choose or then i make a bad chose

I bought from uBid.com before and they have very good service. I received my ATI 8500 and popped it in to my comp and my 3dmark score was 9160! My cpu was overclocked to 139 fsb. I feel a little unsafe on how they shipped it though. All they did was wrap grey plastic over the retail box and put a sticker on it, and when I received it from UPS, the box was very very warm due to the heat here in Las Vegas. I will order from them again.
