Devices are sharing IRQ's. And blue screens as a result!

I got my sound card and USB support both sharing IRQ 10. In XP pro I will occasionaly get blue screens telling me that Windows halted the system to prevent damage. It then tells me the problem. It is either the USB or Emku...(The type of sound chip). how do I split these guys up from sharing IRQ 10? thanks, guys..

it's ok. win2k and winxp are supposed to do irq sharing. if you dont want that and want to configure irqs manually, you'll have to reinstall the OS.

    darn.

looks like a re-install is coming up here real soon. XP has been a real prob with me. Not only have my 3dMark score dropped 300 points, but I'm getting tired of blue screens as well. hmm.

Make sure that "Pnp by OS" or some such words is enabled in the BIOS.
