Problem with Win 98SE and Intellimouse Explorer
all works well with the mouse in the USB port except after I turn off my computer. When it turns back on, i get the message that no mouse is present. Even though the mouse is plugged in. However, if I unplug it and plug it back in, all goes well and Windows recognizes it! ***? Anyone know what the deal is? Never did this to me in Win ME or XP.
thanks guys

i had no problems running my explorer under 98SE...i used it for probably 16 months, just upgraded to XP...
my only suggestion is to get the newest intellimouse software
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/r...&Start=&Page=0
try that...if it doesnt work, search for it on MS's downloads page. i must admit, though, that version 3 worked better for me than version 4
