    SE Posting Evolution

Apologies if this has been asked before, and I'm sure it has, but what is the progression/evolution of post count lifeforms (with the number of posts required)? Just a bit curious. I'm not a big 'post-er' but have spent hours reading them. Thank you for your time.

I think it should be part of the FAQ.

dude, I've been seeing your posts for quite some time and this is the first time I realized what you user name was. I always read it as dude-with or dude-width. Ha-ha, me so silly. It's kinda like reading generic shark instead of genetic.

Yea that was me, but Housen said he had to change my name to dudewth because the F implied something...it's not like I really care that much though. Hell I made this account to just post once or twice and ended up coming here everyday

Dudewth, thank you, the information is much appreciated. However, the sarcasm is not. I apparently did not use the same search terms you used in your search. Please share them with me so I may someday assist someone with a similar question rather than talk down to them.

Hmm I wasn't trying to be sarcastic at all. I was just pointing out that searching for things helps. We get way too many re-posts about the exact same thing with the same question being asked on the same page. That's not the case here, but just try a number of searches with different words. Also post that you already searched for it and couldn't find it so people know. I searched for "posts ranks"

another point of info that's not really mentioned is that if you see a folder with a 'dot' on it then it means you have posted to that thread. Makes it easy to keep track of what threads you have posted in too keep up.

Using the search terms you recommended, I found a thread or two with the appropriate info. Thanks. The other stuff - you caught me on a bad day. I guess there are different ways to say just about anything and folks shouldn't be thin skinned. Done deal.

And to think, you guys used to be my idols

Did you at least do a search for your own user name
to see if anyone has followed up on your posts?
    (please, please say yes)

I usually check back often enough to have less than a page of new topics, so I just go through all of them

No, I don't post enough to search for myself. I just remember the thread title and look for it.
