    Arrow My CD drives are suffering from depression.

    I am running Windows XP. My CD drives and their shortcuts used to change to the icon of whatever disc was inserted into the drive. My drives don't seem to want to do that anymore. The text for the drive still changes as usual, but not the icon?!

    Can anyone help?

    That is some comfort. Misery loves company!

    Perhaps it was a hot fix update which caused the problem?
