Program takes up 100% CPU after a while (please help)

This program I have that runs the buttons on my keyboard, the keyboard its a Memorex MX2700, the program that runs all the buttons like, volume next song, stuff like that. After a while of it being on it starts to use 100% of the CPU keeping my cpu maxed out. I have no idea why, I just realized it, I tried upgrading the software, the newer software on there site works, BUT it wont let me change my mp3's playing with my next buttons like the older software does. I tried to change what the buttons do but you can't. It kinda sucks seeing as my only use for those buttons are the volume and to change mp3's.

What can I do to get this program to stop hogging the CPU it doesnt do it when you first open it, only after a while of it being open.

The OS is Win xp, I tried changing the priority to very low and see what happens. I haven't noticed it hogging the CPU but it still may, Iv got my eye on it.

Cool ditto on the Internet keyboards

i have the Yahoo internet keyboard, same problem, this is with the VIA chipset, on the Intelomatic setup, no problems with another of the same keyboard, so it may be chipset specific.

this does answer a question i had, like if i changed internet keyboard brands would it go away, but i guess not, gotta be a driver issue of some kind.

i am still using the keyboard in question, just haven't loaded the special software to run the buttons.

Thats a bit strange, It may be an OS issue. Maybe the way the thread is processed by the CPU causes it hog the CPU? It's gotta be that.
