Well, it could be one multi-CPU system or a bunch of resurrected PII’s. I saw a spec. bid for a system with 240 CPU’s the other day; I wonder how many units that baby would put out? I wonder how much it would cost a day to keep it running?

And I look in on you guys too. I like to see who I'm gaining on, and who is pulling away. 40 to 50 a day is a lot of units, 80+ is insane! I’ll just keep pluggen away and see who I can catch. I still think we should start a guild or something here on the forum. We have an Overclocking (org?), and a Cooling guild. So we need some type of Seti something or other.
Our top two guys, together, put out 86. Sorry about the confusion there. 42 and 44 WU's a piece. The guy who's putting out 44 WU's has some computers that I don't remember about and around 5 1.3 GHz Duron/NForce machines. He's going the cheap route.

I see, the 80+ had me green with envy , but 40few makes me feel better. I was in the mid 40’s, but I’ve been getting units from a 99 tape of late, and I a little over 50 a day now.

    8-10 Durons@ 1.3

    7-8 Athlon XP's @ 1.6

Or you could have a larger variety of rigs going.

There is this one guy over at Team Phoenix rising that has a seti farm of like 24 AXP 1900+ running to get about 200 WU's a day. There are a couple of guys over there that pull in over 500 WU's a day as well.

The best setup would be a couple of 8way Xeon 1ghz w/2mg of cache w/ about 32gb of ram each. With seti loaded up on a 6gb or so ram drive.

Either that or ask seti very nicely to recompile a version to run on It-2 and setup an 8way jobbie

If i leave both my puters running seti i can push out 16-18 WU's a day
