    What is the XP issue with refresh Rate ?

    I just installed XP Pro 3 days before but i never had problems with refresh , i run games , apps but refresh is allways to 85 !
    I hawe Nvidia oficial drivers 29.42 .
    When those refresh changes appear ?

    Its not XP's fault. The NT kernel has that and it effects both windows 2000 and XP.

    However with some games its not a problem. Other games your refresh rate hits 60hz immediate. I would suggest using Refresh Lock as a fix for it.

    Or you can try the Nvidia refresh tool from www.guru3d.com

    For ATI cards you can use refreshlock or the Omega Plutonium drivers.
