Let me see you nice cabling job inside you case!
Herr is mine: neat and functional (aka I didn't use so many tie wraps and tuck wires beside stuff so much that is would be a huge chore to change something around inside my case).

You did a nice job with that. What is that gray wire that hooks up to our lowest PCI card?

Thats the sound card so the one on the left goes to the CDROM or whatever & the one on the right not sure where that goes..
I need to rework all that Black Loom its a little to much.

The lowest pci card is my Audigy. One wire is the analog connetion to my Plextor, and the other is the digital sound connection. I pluged them to the plextor because of someting I read about it being very good for cd reading (forgot exactly what the technology it uses is ).I'm also pretty happy w/ my floppy cable, it is actually good that it is flat since I can run it under my mobo.

Yeah it kinda is a bit much. It looks good, but I'd think all that black tubbing would hurt the airflow (for the psu wires) since it makes all the psu wires fatter. But if you are getting good temps, keep them, then look pretty awesome. But I have seriously seen some horrible stuff with that tubeing. One guys case was pretty much filled by all the tubbing. Great job TAZ!!!

Ah that's what I thought, I just wasn't sure why there were 2 connections.

Nice, nice. I always like clean case wiring better when it is done w/ flat cables w/o being rounded. Much more challenging. I applaud your work.

The tubing TAZTG has on his psu?
I think he got it from an "Autozone" type store, so it's likely dependent on how much things are around you.
I think I may do something "kind of" like what TAZ has done, but I'm going to swoop around the back more than him, so you can't see many wires.
I'm just having trouble finding molex extenders.
Either way, I'll have some pics up once I get my round cables and all.

Great White Shark
I think I did a good job considering how freaking full my case is (total of 7 IDE devices )
And the GF4 just squeeked in there... I had to take out the one set of black IDE cables just to install it.
I do have some plans for this weekend to make it even neater...

Put that floppy some where else, and spread those drives out. You can put a 92mm fan in those drive cages if you take out the 80mm fan mount thing (the purple thing). And arrange 2 drives per cage like I did (so that plenty of air goes over both sides of each drive.

How to perfectly setup 4 hdds in a sx1030, and have even better cooling.
Here, this is my opinion on the best intake/ hdd configuration for an sx1030 case requires some minor modding:

It would be a good idea to remove the floppy bay covers to maximize air flow on the top fan. I'd recomend putting a fan grill on the side of the top fan facing the front of the case (or you could drill a bunch of holes in the floppy bay covers and leave them there).
Edit: remeber, paste the url into address bar.

Thanks, TAZ.
I'm thinking I'll run them largely in back of my case and tape 'em to the mobo tray with the psu cable covers over whatever's showing inside the case.
I may make a trip down to RadioShack soon (aka today).
How much do the molex connectors usually run? $2?
