Cool Just put deposit down on my new Speaker system.

I just put this system on layby, all prices in Au $

    Amp - Pioneer 6.1 Receiver VSX-D810S - 120wrms x 6 $999 down from $1399 - Outgoing model

    Front Speaks - Yamaha NS-55 Tower Speakers, 70w rms / 250w burst. Twin 8" w/10cm mid and 3cm tweet

Fr Centre - Yamaha NSC-300 Centre Speaker

    R Centre - Yamaha NSC-120 Centre Speaker

    Rear Spks - Yamaha NSE-55 Rear Speaker - 50w rms / 150w burst.

They are going to make some new box's up for my rockford subs to "get me though" for free

They set it up for me in one of there sound rooms minus the subs and it sounded unreal . The base for the front speakers alone was enough to really shake you.

I've ordered a Audigy Plat eX for connection to my pc, using it's optical out.

I already have a TEAC DVD player

All i need now is a TV

Need to eventually add the non-mobile bag-end powered dual 18" sub.

LoL no, when i finish paying off this lot (in about 6months ) I'll get a 10" downward firing 800wRMS yamaha sub. They sound pretty good for the price.

I dont have a concrete bunker either so i have to think about wether or not my house is going to fall down

Not bad, particularly for the bang-per-buck ratio (all though, I doubt it's cheap at all).

Downfiring subs do tend to shake a lot though.

Ah, so we've found what you really need.
