TAZTG brought it to my attention that a FAQ for all stuff cases and cooling related would be good on the CG website. So I ask everyone who wants to help please pm a common question (ie. Whats a good quiet fan?) as the subject. and then in the message give the answer. (ie. A vantec stealth is a good fan that is very quiet) You can do as many as you want, but you will get credit for each one you answer. I would ask for them to be posted here but the thread would get to long and hard to organize. After I get a few I will write the HTML for the page then we will see where it goes from there

Thanks pwain, I hope it catches on and we can make a good list of FAQ's. I know lots of New Folks ask the same questions that have been asked before by different Folks & I thought this would be very insightful. I have tried this once before but with the Guild helping I think it will work.

Rather than PMing, why don't we just use this thread as the "Ok, we need silent fans in x size for x use to put on the page."

That way questions will be out in the open rather than between 2 people.

Vantec Stealth/Sunon 25CFM. But don't try using them outside of case fans (means that you shouldn't put one on your heatsink). They perform too slow to work so well in heatsinks.

I agree, chatroom or something of the sort would work best. The PM thing isn't open enough for everyone to pitch their ideas in.
