Good Headpones for under 150 canadian

Hi, I need some good quality headphones for under or around 150 canadian (I think thats around 100 american?) I will be using them for computer gaming and listening to punk rock and a bit of rap. They don't have to block out exterior noise. They also need to be able to connect to my discman which is a sony g-skip (don't know the number). I need to be able to buy them at a canadian retail store or get them by phone (internet is not an option)

    Thanks alot,
    Mark

Sennheiser HD 497's. I paid $60 for mine and they sound awesome. They work well with computers and are just able to be powered by portable music players.

I just bought a pair of Koss PortaPro Headphones... $70 Canadian and they have incredible clarity and bass to die for... and they are comfortable, portable and incredible.

    Get them at Radio Shack.

The HD497 is not only better, but easier to drive. I doubt you will be able to drive the 495's properly without an amp.

I don't know, I haven't seen any of the grado headphones in person, but from pictures, I think they look pretty cool/old school. Of course, I like the way just about anything looks if it perorms the way I like... Sort of a "chicken and the egg" sort of thing.
