    zonealarm pro 3.0 bug?

    just started recently. i registered the program about 2 weeks ago and just starting today, upon rebooting/starting up, zonealarm "forgetts" the permissions I give it. Now I have to re-click yes everytime a program tries to access the web even if I select the "remember every time" box. it is supposed to remember this!!! it is very annoying and I don't know why it just started TODAY.

    Hm I doubt it's a zonealarm bug, friend of mine uses the pro version and has no trouble with it. This would be a MAJOR issue and I'd assume zonelabs would find out really fast about it and fix it even faster.
    My favorite suspect here would be windows, I love to blame windows for everything that goes wrong (usually im right ).
    The annoying windows bug on my PC is that it occasionally forgets folder settings and I get huge icons instead of a detailed list :P

    Anyway, did you upgrade from a previous version of zonealarm?
    Did you ever have a fully functional version?
    You could try the free version and see if that has the same problem.

    Personally I couldn't convince myself to get ZA Pro, the free version just does everything i need. I get mail safe and virus protection from Norton (need that anyway for maintenance).
