    Best launch in GTA3?

I was just curious to see what people here think is the best place to jump in GTA3. Personally, I think that the bridge between the first island and the middle one is pretty good (I can't remember the names of the islands). If you're drving from the middle island to the first one and drive down the middle you can get pretty good air off of that jump.

What other good jumps are out there? Are there any really insane launches that I'm totally missing?

I've never been able to really get my car to do any flips before except one time when I was driving across the bridge between the middle and 3rd island and happened to hit the lifting bridge section just before it was all the way back down again. I think I did 2 filps then.

Other good jumps that I've found:
    1. Airport...obvious where they are
    2. Top of parking deck...middle island
Please add your own to the list. Thanks

Staunton (middle island), down by the waterfront, toward the casino. Jump from one pier to the other- gotta time is just right or you'll over/under shoot.

By the place where you meet that asian lady (aurko or something in the second island).
Her place is in lower than rest of the island. Take a car from her place and go up the ramp, keep going untill there is no road going straight. Then make a left, and make the first left again. Go straight and fast in the middle of the road. When you hit the end of the road you will hit the curb and flip alot

I have Gotten about 2.5 flips and over 500 degrees of rotation. Try it, its fun.

Yeah that jump is coolio. I like the one behind the Triad Fish factory. You jump really far and you have to be going really fast to make it to the other side. I tried it with the tank, hit the edge of the pier and went into the water. If you go up to the entrance of the Salvatore mansion, and turn around so you are facing the city, to the right you can drive on a rooftop and jump the street. I always use the firetruck on that one.

In the second Island, if you go to that shop that is like two floors of glass, you can hit the stairs and go through the window. Thats all I can think of.

    Hi

The best jump is the bridge jump on the 3rd island Staunton me thinks ( the one with the airport). You jump over an old broken bridge the jump is about 500m on the right when you come off the lift bridge

On that same Island is also a mega jump over two ramps which can land you in the river. Also at the airport are some jumps. The highest amount I got was 50000 bucks. But you have to do loads in succesion to get that amount!!!!

Yeah, I found the wodden bridge one on the third island. That one is pretty cool. I also did the one by the Asian lady on the 2nd island. That one was pretty cool too.

For flips, I still think that the best one I've found is to sit on the bridge between the 2nd and 3rd islands and wait until the lifting middle section starts to lower. When it's about half way down you can floor it and you have to time it just right so that you hit the sect ion just before it's all the way down. I've done three flips with a perfect landing now.

I also did the one jump on the third island near the police station where you launch over buildings and then hit another ramp and launch into the river. That one was pretty sweet, but it's hard to hit the first jump just right, so that you also hit the second one. I've only been able to do that once.

BTW, what do you think is the fastest car in the game? There are several that seem pretty close. The one that I think is probably the fastest is the convertible car that has the racing stripe down the middle. It kind of, vaugely looks like a Dodge viper convertible.

The curved unfinished wooden bridge (or something) just off of road around the airport on Shoreside Vale is a personal fave.

Hmmm, while the bridge between the 1st and 2nd island is good. I'd have to say the broken bridge right by the airport is great got to hit it just right and you get great rotation. try jumping off the drawbridge at the curved section going from 2nd to 3rd island. Takes some practice, but well worth it with some speed and a good trajectory.

i like the one where you jump over the callagan bridge.....the huge ramp that is in the middle of the bridge above azuka's condo...its really hard to line it up without hitting the 2 trees....

BTW, if anybody has a *working* version of GTA3 PC, ever tried a jump with a modified car?

my yakuza runs at 230 mph and goes from 0 100 in 5 seconds
