Will my new comp boot from the XP pro OS cd?
Hello-
I'm aware that I can boot from CD if I change the boot order in the bios, but my question is.... will the XP operating system CD have the necesary boot files right on it to allow it to go into system setup and disk partitioning? Do I have to somehow get my hands on a cd with only boot files?
(I do not have a floppy drive)
Thanks guys

Crash Test Dummy
You can boot to the standard ol' Windows XP installation CD. It'll boot you right into Windows setup, and you can partition & format your hard drive as part of the installation process.
