Questions About Making An Acrylic Glass PC Case Door?
I've decided on getting a PC Power & Cooling "Deluxe Chrome Tower" server case but the one thing it dosen't have, which I wish it did have, is a front Acrylic door just like the Cooler Master "ATC-210".
So what I wanted to Know is, is it possible to get a hold of the same kind of metal clamps like the ones on the "ATC-210" or something like them at a retail hardware store or off of a website?, so that way I can fix a piece of Acrylic glass door on the "Deluxe Chrome Tower" case myself!

This is exactly what I meant, a person should be able to do the same thing by them selves without much trouble. And thanks for awesome screen shots!
P.S. If your wondering why I wanted to get a steel case over a aluminum one, (I know this is not going to sound popular) it's because I don't like aluminum cases, I think their over hyped, over priced and they can scratched and dented really esaily!

There are Chieftec Aluminum cases, but with plastic front doors, that sell for around $100. There are some other aluminum cases that sell for about $100.

RIP SiS :(
You could try it with hinges. You'd have to put the hinges against the chasis. No promises though and I won't even try to come close to even saying drilling acrylic glass would work well. I'm using a dremel this very second cutting my window to shape (which is acrylic glass) and I'm going really slow.

Thanks for the reply guys, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, no one was posting here for the longest time so I thought this thread was pretty much dead now.
I've got a question for you guys, does anyone here know of any good reviews with lots of pictures of the PC Power & Cooling "Deluxe Chrome Tower" on the internet?
The reason I'm asking is because the pictures of the inside and outside of the case on the home website really sucks. The only good review I saw once of the "Deluxe Chrome Tower" was on GameSig which now the site is DEAD!

to add a acrylic door i wouldn't recamend drilling it at all i would try using an apoxy or supper glue to attach to the acrylic
and to find the right type of mounts just go to your local harware store and expain what your trying to do and they'll be able to point u in the right direction

man y didn't i think of epoxy! nice one razz another thing we should consider is that the little flap to access the USB ports portrudes a little. The acrylic would definately need a little room between the face of the case, so forget makin the acrylic flush against the case. this project isn't hard at all actually, i just lack the access to the necessary tools

Master of the obvious
You shouldn't have any problems drilling the acrylic. I've been using Lucite 'Tuff' lately and it drills very well. Doesn't seem to crack either.. You can bolt the mounts right to it. If you decide to use an adhesive just make sure to get an acrylic 'compatible' epoxy

Well Thanks again you guys for the advice. Now the only thing I have left to do is get off my butt and order my computer system so won't have to keep posting from brother-in-law's DUMB-*** G3 Apple iMac system!!!
