    Thumbs down Googlegear

I'm shopping for a DVD-ROM and I try to get on Googlegear's web site...As usual it takes minutes to load every page and sometimes I have to refresh couple of times....I am pissed. They're gonna lose my business unless they improve their web site. Oh, btw, what brand of DVD-ROM will you guys suggest? Thanks!

same problem here, maybe they're just having web site troubles right now, that doesn't make business bad, so don't try to critize them just cause of that. and get a Lite-On, its like $45 at the most, www.newegg.com

Thats odd. It took 30 seconds max on a highly used DSL line for me.

Googlegear's a quality company. They usually have pretty decent prices. I recently bought some RAM from there. And yeah, their website is helluva slow.

Yeah, Googlegear's website isn't the fastest in the world during primetime. Early or late at night though it's about normal. On Cable here. It's a good idea to order from them because they generally have good prices comparable with Newegg and offer $.50 2nd Day FedEx on some items.
